Prof. Shun-KaiYANG’s research work entirely in the interests of microbial transformations for steroid and non-steroid compounds, and Chem-Enzymatic synthesis in medicinal and natural products chemistry has being done since 1970. Now he is a member of Enzymology Engineering Committee CMS and Biochemical Enginee-ring Committee CCES　 

杨顺楷研究员，博士生导师，长期从事甾体和非甾体化合物微生物转化的研究开发和化学-酶法合成工作，有多项成果应用于工业生产，特别是“肉桂酸/红酵母苯丙氨酸解氨酶酶法生产L-苯丙氨酸”的投产为国内首创，已工业化生产2000t。多次参加国际学术会议，已发表论文报告130余篇，中国微生物学会酶工程专业委员会和中国化工学会生物化工专委会委员，《生物加工过程》编委，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。

　 Her research work has been majored in the field of industrial microbiology and its biotechnological application since 2001. (1) Directed screening ofAspergillus nigerwith high tannase activity and enzymatic process developed for Chinese-gallotannin to gallic acid in 500L fermentor (2)Solid State Fermentation (SSF) culturing ofAspergillus nigercontaining tannase, pectinase and proteinase, and application in the clarification and precipitatie removal of wine and juice ofPhyllanthus emblica.　(3) microbial degradation of phytosterol to value-added pharmaceutical intermediates such as 9-alpha-OH-AD, AD and ADD.
