Education and Appointments:

Lu Tao, a full Professor in the Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwest A&F University in 1999 and 2004, respectively; and received his Ph.D. degree in the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007; and was a visiting scholar from 2013 to 2014 at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, he is mostly interested in the coupling relationship of human and natural systems, design and bio-diversity conservation, as well as the sustainability.
