Education and Appointments:

Doctor of Natural Science, Professor, and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His team focuses on the forefront and fundamental scientific issues of the impacts of environmental changes on wildlife, as well as conservation biology of threatened species. He explores the effects of environmental change on wildlife and species' responses from various perspectives. Additionally, he conducts researches in ecological modeling methodology for endangered species and protected areas. He has published 80 papers in academic journals and contributed to eight monographs. As the first or corresponding author, his researches have been published in leading journals such as Methods in Ecology and Evolution, PNAS, Global Change Biology, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Journal of Animal Ecology, Biological Conservation, Diversity and Distributions, Journal of Biogeography, Oecologia, and so on.
