Research Interest

(1) Exploring molecular phylogenetic relationships, species trait evolution, and biogeography of amphibians to address issues related to species evolutionary relationships, origins, and the mechanisms of current distribution patterns.
(2) Conducting integrative biogeographical research on a global scale, incorporating paleogeography, paleoclimate, and plate tectonics to reveal the impact of continental drift and climate change on global biodiversity distribution patterns.
