Education and Appointments: In 2004, I joined the Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a researcher, received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry of Sichuan University in 2000. From 1999 to 2004, I worked as a PhD and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Hong Kong for 5 years, and from 2010 to 2011, I was an advanced visiting scholar of small molecule applications in the treatment and diagnosis of tumors and neurological diseases at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. In recent years, I has been mainly engaged in the research and development of original natural medicines and functional health products with independent intellectual property rights, and has carried out systematic research on the basic theories and key technologies closely related to the research and development process of new drugs and functional health products, including the separation and identification of natural products, structural transformation, screening of active small molecule compounds, structure-activity relationship and molecular target research, as well as research on new processes and methods of drug synthesis.
