Drug of Di’ao Xinxuekang into European market

Chinese Academy of Sciences（CAS） held a press conference recently in Beijing, announcing that Di’ao Xinxuekang capsules which developed and produced by Chengdu Di’ao Pharmaceutical company of CAS had been approved by the EU registration. Di’ao Xinxuekang, the therapeutic drugs from China with independent intellectual property rights firstly as a breakthrough come into the mainstream market in developed countries.

In the news conference, Sang Guowei, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, Bai Chunli, President of CAS, Chen Zhu Minister of Health were present and delivered speeches. Vice president Zhang Yaping chaired this meeting.

Diao Xinxuekang were jointly developed by Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Di’ao Pharmaceutical company under the guidance of one academy owning two systems in Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The former director of Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chengdu Di’ao Pharmaceutical company Chairman LI Bogang led his team to capture the high-purity large-scale industrial production of steroidal saponins resolving the world of technical problems to create China's first modern varieties of Chinese medicine. The company focused a lot in the products of basic research, as well as production equipment, system of product quality management and manufacturing processes which consistent with certification of EU GMP requirements.
