Recently, the director of biogas technical project and marketing director of Novozyme(Denmark), Dr. Thomas Schizoer, led 4 persons visited Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for they wanted to launch the biogas project cooperation with CIB .

CIB Director Prof. Wu Ning welcomed the arrival of the guests from Novozymes.

During the meeting, Wu Ning introduced the history and scientific research of CIB. He pointed out that, CIB devoted to bio-energy research for a long time, and some outstanding success has achieved as result of the applied research,

Afterwards, Dr. Thomas Schizoer and Dr. Henriettte Draborg introduced the basic input, and overall project planning of Novozymes biogas projects. In the report, they expressed their confidences in CIB’s strength to make intensive wide range of cooperation with Novozymes in the future. 

Meanwhile, the two sides discussed cooperation on gas projects in-depth.

Prof. Zhao Hai, as vice director of Center for Environmental Microbiology, presided over the meeting.

Prof. Liu Kexin, Liu Xiaofen, Liao Yinzang and Wang Tong also attended the communication.

Dr. Henriettte Draborg accompanying with Prof.Zhao and his partners visited the laboratory, and conducted exchanges with researchers.
