A science and technology delegation led by science and technology counsellor of German embassy Hack Matthias visited CIB on May 19.

Prof. Zhang Guolin, deputy director of CIB,  welcomed the delegation and introduced CIB  research and development .

 

 He noted that CIB keeps the tight communication and exchange with the relative insitutions, universities and companies in Germany, and hoped to further tighten  collaboration in future.

 

Scientists in CIB also introduced their research in climate change in Tibeten Plateau and Hengduan Mountains, reservation in biodiversity and enviroment protection.

German delegation memebers introduced the  collaboration research, education and information exchange,  the funding opptunities and ways supplied by Germany,

 

Also, they proposed the possible collaboration fields and needs, and invited the CIB scientists to participate in the Sino-German biodiversity and enviroment protection international symposium in Beijing in September 2010.

Professors including Li Daping, Tang Yezhong, Tan Hong, Luo Peng and Liu Xiaofeng joined the meeting.
The German delegation also visited the Reptile and Amphibian exhibition building, accompanied by Prof. Zhang Guolin.
