The invention belongs to agricultural preservation technology. As a raw material for industrial production, sweet potato has many advantages, such as starch content was high, yields large, inexpensive, widely cultivated area and does not affect food security.

However, its application has its shortcomings, such as intolerance of low-temperature, perishable, seasonal production and so on.

In light of this, the invention from CIB is based on acid or alkali which could inhibit microbial growth and the vast majority of the enzyme from itself. By adding acidic or alkaline substances, sweet potato starch's long-term preservation has become possible and easy.

The invention provides technical support for all year supply of cheap raw materials sweet potato in industrial production.
