Invited by Wu Ning, director of CIB, the chief representative Beijing office of Helmholtz Associa-tion the largest institute in Germany, Dr.He Hong visited CIB on 4th January 2009.
　　  Firstly, on behalf of CIB, director professor Wu Ning expressed warmly welcomes to this visit, and he hoped that the some substantive cooperative researches between the two sides could be developed in those aspects such as ecology & environment, biomass energy, extraction and utility of natural drugs, and microbiology, etc. Then, Dr. He Hong gave a detailed introduction including the Helmholtz constitute, research orientation, staff resources, fund structure, development course, management, research field, subvention system, cooperation circle, international collaboration,and young talent training,  and so on.  After his presentation,  there was an animated discussion on both interested projects at the meeting.
